The patch is stitched on nice and tight, not like some beanies where it peels off after a wash. Wore it out in 20-degree weather and my ears stayed toasty, plus the acrylic is soft enough that I forgot I had it on after a few minutes.

I was worried about itchiness since I have sensitive skin, but this being hypoallergenic acrylic makes all the difference. The cuff sits snug without squeezing, and the patch gives it a nice rugged touch that dresses up any plain coat.

The patch stitching is neat and the acrylic knit is genuinely soft against my forehead, not itchy at all. Cuffed it down over my ears on a windy walk and stayed warm the whole time.
